Assiatou (AH-SEEYA-TOO), founder of Spoonful of Tools, is a New York State Certified early childhood specialist, ABA provider and behavioral coach. Educated in Switzerland, Assiatou did her undergraduate work at Georgetown University, then received two Masters from Columbia University. For over 15 years, Assiatou has worked with preschoolers, their families and teachers in the NYC private school system and through the New York State Department of Education. Assiatou has extensive experience and success in supporting neurodivergent children (A.D.H.D, Autism, Anxiety, Sensory Processing; Socio-Emotional and Speech and Language delays) using evidence based strategies. Assiatou’s positive approach gives simple and effective tips empowering you with actionable solutions to your challenges. Bilingual in French and proficient in Spanish, Italian and German, Assiatou provides services in multiple languages, to meet a variety of linguistic and cultural needs.
